Oxburgh Hall

_DSC2100-Edit

Oxburgh Hall

Processed in Lightroom 5.7 and Topaz B&W Effects.

We took a short break to Norfolk this week which turned out to be mainly blighted by heavy rain. We did however, manage to visit the lovely Oxburgh Hall on one of the better days, with the bad weather holding off for just enough time for me to get a few half decent shots of the exterior form various viewpoints.

Having got the shots back home and loaded into Lightroom, I decided that the due to the lacklustre lighting a couple of shots would benefit from being worked on in mono. I quite liked the result I got from putting the image through Topaz B&W Effects but I did a fair bit of dodging and burning to bring out as much drama as I could from the sky.

I’ll post a few more over the next few days.

Thanks for stopping by.

Spotted whilst on a walk around the streets of Canterbury. There are loads of these little stickers all over the place, so keep your eyes peeled.

No filters this time, just converted to mono in Lightroom 5.7.

Just another photograph

_DSC1831

Winchelsea beach, Sussex UK.

Shot using an ND4 grad and processed using Adobe Lightroom.

Managed to pull myself out of bed this morning to go out with my camera, however nothing exciting happened with the weather. I came away with one or two OK pics, this being one. It’s nothing spectacular but I quite like how the water has formed a circular shape in the foreground.

Hoping for something better next time. Thanks for stopping by.
