Dave Wares is a self-taught photographer based in Hastings, East Sussex UK.

Originally starting out in a more traditional style of landscape and nature photography, I found my interest shifting more towards dereliction and urban decay, which then became the main focus of my work between 2008-2014. Nowadays I continue to work with my own form of “chorosuna” (roaming the streets taking casual snaps), more akin perhaps to the Japanese photographers of the 60s.
