‘California Red’

It’s cold and wet.

Come on over and warm yourself inside.

I want you to take me for a ride.

Fight to be free.

‘The pessimist’

Walking along bottle alley in Hastings.

Paste-ups currently cover all the pillars.

A playground for anyone with a pen.

Optimism is in decline.

‘Oldster’

After taking my shot of this old Chevy (Relics) through the viewfinder of my friends Rolleiflex, I then put my own camera on the ground to take this shot.

Love the low viewpoint.

We both took this shot.

His is square and in mono.

Sunday yielded a good crop of photos.

‘Parade’

Walking back to our car and spotted these three minis coming towards us.

Swiftly held up the camera and managed a couple of grab shots before they passed.

Saturday was a good day.

‘Relics’

Met up with my good friend Dan for a mornings stroll with our cameras.

Dan is big into using film and when we came across this beautiful old Chevy pickup, I had to make this shot looking through the viewfinder of his Rolleiflex.

A perfect partnership in every respect.
